Devlog Entry 1: Crafting 'Blinny': A Mobile Game from Scratch

Embarking on a new game venture, I present to you 'Blinny', a 3D mobile game with a 2D interface. This venture began as a solo development project, allowing me to have hands-on involvement in every detail. From creating wireframes to designing the game design document (GDD), to developing basic assets and interactions, the first few weeks have been an exhilarating whirlwind of progress.

Progress Overview:

  1. Game Design Document: The GDD has laid the groundwork for 'Blinny' and has been crucial in guiding design decisions and gameplay mechanics.
  2. Wireframes and Interface: A 2D interface is currently in place, designed to offer players an intuitive experience as they navigate through 'Blinny's' 3D world.
  3. Rooms and Interactions: The game features four main rooms - Kitchen, Bathroom, Salon, and Garden. Initial interactions for each room have been mapped out and are in the early stages of development.
  4. Asset Creation: As of now, all assets have been crafted by me. But, as the beta release in the first week of October draws near, I'm looking forward to collaborating with other professionals to elevate the game's visual and interactive facets.
